About Us:

The purpose of the Southern MN Crisis Nursery is to provide 24-hour care for children ages 0-12 in a safe and loving environment while supporting families who are experiencing a stressful situation.

SMNCN is a independent non profit organization, run by a board of 12 volunteers.  In 2015 the founding board members began the process of creating the crisis nursery in New Ulm, MN.  June 19, 2017 we opened the doors of the Ivy House to serve families!!  In the last year we have provided over 350 days of care for individual children!
