"The SMNCN is a 24-hour home that exists to provide a temporary, safe and loving environment for children while supporting and strengthening families experiencing a stressful situation."
IMportanT COVId-19 update:
The SMNCN board of directors has made the very difficult decision to temporarily close the Ivy House services to families effective Thursday, March 19, 2020. The safety of our clients, staff, and volunteers is the utmost importance and at this time we are not able to provide services at the Ivy House safely.
Although the 24-7 care is not available the Ivy House staff will still be answering the 24-7 hotline to provide support and guidance to families. The Ivy House will be closed for a period of 2 weeks during which we will be working diligently on modifying our services so that we can open our doors to serve families as soon as possible. We will be using information from the MDH and CDC to guide our decisions moving forward. We are committed to our mission of providing a safe and loving space for families, and we will continue to do that the best we can.
